The Four Churches
St Peter's Collegiate Church

The Collegiate Church of St Peter
St Peter’s serves the City as a wonderful sanctuary. It is open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each weekday and Saturday, and around services on Sundays. You will find places to sit in warmth, peace and quiet, places to pray, someone to talk to if you wish, a shop offering Christian books and artefacts and our nearby coffee bar.

Worship is in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Vestments, reservation and the sacrament of reconciliation are all part of our tradition with incense used at festival services. We have an excellent music department with more than 70 children and young people involved along with Lay Clerks and Choral Scholars. We also have a very fine set of bells - the second oldest complete set of twelve in the country.
